The Legologist writes this post with a heavy heart - the sky has turned grey again over her little patch of London and rain threatens: summer really has gone and it's not coming back. So I'm not posting this to make the situation worse, just for you to make a mental note for next summer. How often have you tried on a bikini to find that the top half fits and the bottom doesn't (or vice versa)? So you end up in size 12 top and size 14 (or 10) bottoms? Bugsy Pants have come up with an excellent solution to this - make your own bikini! You mix and match the patterns and/or sizes of tops and bottoms to get a bespoke bikini. There are different cuts and styles to choose from (retro, edgy, girly, you name it), and the, um, *pieces* can be worn as dance/fitness wear too. I love the whole concept (though if it had been me I'd have called it 'bespoke bikini' but I won't dwell on it), and will be bookmarking the site for future reference. Over at Sweaty Betty meanwhile a thing called a 'skort' (skirt/leggings hybrid) has debuted, and I like the idea of that too for disguising post Christmas lardiness while doing what has to be done at Karen Hardy's dance studio.
